Uhl Truck Sales was started in 1953 by Bernard Uhl in Palmyra, Indiana, & Uhl Truck Lease was started in 1969 primarily serving a large chicken processor in Corydon, Indiana. In 1982, Bernard Uhl was one of the eleven original founding members of Idealease, an organization today that has over 400 locations throughout the US, Canada and Mexico and operates in excess of 45,000 units.

Bob Deibel, the general manager of Uhl Idealease recently took delivery of a new T-800 refrigeration unit from Thermo King. This is the first T series unit installed by Thermo King of Indiana. According to Bob, “Customers choose Uhl because of our people and service. We are small enough to customize services to your needs and large enough to take care of your vehicles anywhere in North America.”
